I'm known as a leading global voice on leadership, equality and change. I'm a social entrepreneur, international speaker, coach and author.

I’m based in London but travel frequently, and as a dual UK/US citizen, I spend a lot of time in LA.

WHAT I DO
For the past 24 years I have worked to inspire and empower thousands of women across the globe to transform their lives, careers and world through a powerful mix of events, coaching and mentoring.
I lead transformational events, interview change makers on my podcast and write books.
I founded Aspire in 2001 and The Aspire Foundation in 2010 that pioneered a pro bono mentoring program for women in 80 countries that made a difference to the lives of over 16 million women and girls worldwide.
I speak at events for corporations, governments, businesses and not-for-profits and share my thinking and ideas in articles and interviews whenever I feel I can make a positive contribution.

WHY I DO IT
Leading change, standing up for what’s right and standing up for others is what makes me tick. It gives me strength and a clear sense of purpose.
But it’s really hard to do this alone.
Throughout may life I’ve sought out allies and helped others to find theirs. Because when you find your people, you can change the world – for yourself and everyone else.
Poor leadership and inequality continues to divide us in myriad ways, with far too many people held back by biases based on their gender, ethnicity, race, sexuality or status.
I am determined to empower people to transform how they lead and the difference they make – this is my contribution.
I am a believer in small steps and every day change. Sometimes, however mundane it may seem, it is the changes we make to ourselves and our every day work and lives that contribute to creating a fairer, more harmonious workplace and society.

WHAT'S NEXT?
I now work to empower transformational change in leadership and equality and focus on individual, corporate and organizational transformation.
So I’m putting my time, energy and experience into the creation of programs and events with a deeper focus on the transformational power of the individual to create change.
In practical terms, this means creating and sharing content, bringing women and men together to shine a light on the personal, workplace and social change we want to see in an environment of support, openness and collaboration.
If we work together to tranform leadership and create change in our lives, workplaces and world, I believe we stand a good chance of living in world that is defined by mutual respect, justice and freedom.
It might be a bumpy ride, but it’s going to be amazing.
