Access Places
Access (Scholarship) Places at Events
Over the years, some of the women who have made the greatest impact at Dr Sam Collins events have come through our access places. Their experiences, ideas, questions and perspectives have challenged assumptions, sparked new thinking and helped create exactly the kind of diverse, thought provoking and inspiring rooms we want to build.
That is why we make several complimentary places available at every event. These places are not based on qualifications, job titles or achievement. They exist because we believe the strongest conversations happen when people from different walks of life come together around ideas that matter.
Who Can Request Access Places?
We believe cost should not be a barrier to growth, connection or contribution. Access places are available for both virtual and in-person events for anyone who is unable to attend due to financial circumstances at this stage of their life or career.
While applications are open to all, priority may be given to women working in charities, not-for-profits, grassroots movements, community projects and activist organisations that support women and girls. Access places cover all event fees but do not include travel, accommodation or other associated expenses.
Get In Touch Now
If the cost of attending would prevent you from joining us, we would love to hear from you. Please do not feel you need to impress us. We are not looking for polished applications, perfect language, impressive credentials or extraordinary accomplishments. A few sentences is enough.
Simply tell us a little about the event you want to attend and why. We are not judging spelling, grammar, writing ability, education or job titles. We want to understand who you are and help create a room filled with a rich mix of experiences, perspectives and voices.
Thanks a million again for the scholarship place. It really was so inspiring and energising.
A little note to say thank you so much for the opportunity to participate in the Aspire workshop through your scholarship programme! It was the best event/conference/training/networking that I have ever been to.
It was a pure inspiration. I have the empowerment to change static views and engage further in equality. Every woman needs to engage with Aspire and every woman in power needs to step up for those who can't. It crosses borders, it crosses sectors, it unites a flame inside you to stand up, raise the roof, to make a change with a massive support crew in tow.
I can’t say enough good things. It was amazing and life changing. I can see why people came from all over the country and world to be a part of it. The boost I needed
