Leadership, Purpose and the Difference You Want to Make

A one-day workshop for women who want to lead with greater purpose and impact, whether they are shaping the future of an organisation, considering their next career chapter, building something new or seeking to make a bigger difference through their work and influence.

This event is not a conventional conference, it is a purposeful strategy room, a meeting where women with different passions, professions and areas of expertise can think together, share what they are creating, be honest about their biggest challenges and exchange the knowledge, ideas, experience, encouragement and contacts that will help move their work forward.

This event is designed for women who are:

• Developing their leadership inside a corporation, charity, school, professional body, public institution or community organisation.
• Looking for new skills, confidence and ideas to multiply their influence by developing the next generation of leaders.
• Thinking about your next chapter, career move, portfolio career, business venture or how you want to use your experience and expertise in the years ahead.
• Leading a team, function, business or organisation and wanting to inspire people more effectively, create a stronger culture and increase engagement, ownership and motivation.

• Looking for thoughtful, values led women with whom you can exchange ideas, challenge assumptions, explore possibilities and support one another.
• Tired of conventional workshops and networking events and seeking more meaningful and useful conversations, fresh perspectives and genuine connections.

You may be a CEO or just starting your career. You may work in finance, law, education, healthcare, business, technology, retail, the public sector, the arts, a charity or your local community. You may feel clear about your direction or you may be wrestling with questions you cannot yet fully articulate about what to do next.

What matters is not your title, age, status, qualifications or income. What matters is your willingness to explore what future you aspire to create. Male allies who support the spirit and purpose of the event are also very welcome.

During the event, you will:  

• Clarify the area of change or contribution you most want to advance and connect it to a practical purpose and direction.
• Share what you are doing, the progress you have made and the point at which you need fresh thinking, advice or support.
• Learn and get advice from women working across different industries, sectors and backgrounds to you.
• Exchange contacts, knowledge and ideas with women who may see possibilities that are difficult to see by yourself
• Offer help where your own expertise, encouragement or network could unlock progress for another woman.
• Develop a clear and actionable plan for moving your project, programme, initiative or sphere of influence forward.
• Leave with new relationships, collaborations and a strong sense that you do not have to create change alone.

We will create a space to think about not only your next promotion or project, but also the difference you want you aspire to make in a changing world and to think more intentionally about the influence, expertise, networks and resources you already possess and how you might use them in service of something that matters.

A Different Kind of Venue

Part of what makes this day special is the setting itself. Rather than gathering in a hotel conference room or corporate office, we will spend the day at the Centre for Peace and Reconciliation in the heart of the City of London.  A peaceful oasis of gardens, historic buildings and inspiring spaces that are a world away from the pace of everyday life.

  Reflect on what matters most to you, where you can make the greatest difference and how your work connects to wider change.
• 1:00pm | Lunch Break (Lunch Not Provided). Enjoy lunch at one of the many nearby cafés and restaurants.
• 2:00pm | Turning Ideas into Action
  Develop practical ideas, initiatives and opportunities for positive change in your work, leadership, business or community.
• 3:15pm | Afternoon Break
• 3:30pm | Connection, Collaboration and New Possibilities
  Build meaningful relationships, exchange ideas and discover what becomes possible when women learn, share and work together.
• 4:15pm | Creating Momentum
  Identify your next steps, make commitments and leave with renewed clarity, confidence and purpose.

Cost

£195 plus VAT. Cost does not include any food or drinks.

We know that some of the most valuable perspectives come from people whose financial circumstances may make attending events difficult. For that reason, we have set aside several no cost access places. These places are offered not as charity, but because a wider range of voices, experiences and viewpoints benefits everyone in the room.
